Did I ever tell you that my mom used to be Santa? When I was a kid, she worked for Canada Post. In kindergarten, we all walked to the post office to mail our letters to Santa and my mom was working. She gave us a tour of the post office. And then for the next couple of weeks whenever she came to pick me up at school, she’d ask my friends if Santa had written them back yet.
Anyway, it turns out my mom was Santa. She wrote all the letters for all the kids in our classes. Which, in retrospect, is really weird to me. . .that she was writing letters to all my 6-year-old friends.
